New Ubuntu Tweak 0.4.9.2 Released – and 0.5 New UI Preview!

One of the first things I do after a fresh install of Ubuntu is install Ubuntu Tweak, a great tweaking and management tool.

Today the new version- 0.4.9.2 -has been released and announced on the creator’s blog.

Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala Released!

The new version of Ubuntu, 9.10, aka Karmic Koala has been released today! After many months of testing and preview versions, it’s finally ready for the mainstream. Well, what are you waiting for? Get downloading! (Link for Ubuntu Netbook Remix and Kubuntu)

Remember, the servers are going to be overloaded and very slow, so try and use torrent downloads when possible.

I wouldn’t recommend it, but if you are upgrading from a previous version of Ubuntu, just fire up Update Manager.
